Domestic, part-time, and home care workers deserve better.
Contact your lawmakers now!
The United States allows for domestic and home care workers to be laid off with no explanation, and does not provide them with a living wage and other benefits such as paid family and sick leave. These workers are part of the fabric of our communities and many of their jobs are essential to the COVID-19 response.
We should provide America's domestic and home care workers with a National Domestic Workers' Bill of Rights, including:
- A better, living wage
- Comprehensive benefits
- Scheduling transparency
- Job security
- A fair workweek for the essential duties they perform
We need you to contact your Representatives and Senators and demand better for domestic, part-time, and home care workers in America.
